The Team

Robert Cartwright

I’m a classical osteopath working in Eastleigh and a naturopath and acupuncturist. I have been practising since 1993 and I work with a classical osteopath or traditional osteopathic approach.  I mainly try to help people who are suffering from muscular or joint related pain, but often see people who complain of long term digestive and breathing disorders or other chronic illness or sometimes acute exaggerbations of that illness.  The people who visit my practice vary in age from the very young to the very old, being older doesn't mean you can't be treated by an osteopath it just means that we have to adapt the treatment to a suitable level which is safe for the person being treated.  My approach is a constitutional one where I treat the whole body, rather than just the area that is sore, to promote health and well being, the side effect of this, is the pain or other symptoms usually disappear.  I have successfully treated a very large number of sufferers of back pain over the last nineteen years.
